Exeter Loves Yoga

FAQ

Questions we hear most.

If your question isn’t here, send us a message — we answer every one.

I’m brand new to yoga — where should I start?+

Most new students start with a Hatha or gentle class. Tell the teacher at the door that you’re new and they’ll keep an eye on you. Class prices and any introductory offers are set by each teacher, so check the timetable or ask them directly.

Do you teach pregnancy yoga?+

Yes — Martha runs a specialist pregnancy and postnatal programme in Newton Abbot, with small, intimate groups.

Can I book a single class or do I need a membership?+

Both are possible. Drop-in via Bookwhen, or buy a class pass for better value.

Is your 200-hr training Yoga Alliance accredited?+

Yes — our 200-hr is Yoga Alliance-aligned and led by senior teachers from the collective.

Where do classes take place?+

Across Exeter, Topsham, Crediton, Exmouth and Newton Abbot. See the Timetable for this week’s schedule.

I have an injury — can I still practise?+

Almost always, yes. Email us first so we can suggest the right teacher and style.
