The classical foundation — asana, breath and steady awareness, taught in our holistic tradition.
The Practice
Haṭha Yoga is the classical foundation from which most modern styles have emerged. “Ha” and “ṭha” translate as sun and moon — the practice is the joining of opposites, balancing strength with softness, effort with surrender.
Within the Exeter Loves Yoga collective our Haṭha classes are taught in a holistic tradition: gentle preliminary movements, asana (postures), pranayama (breath), kriyas (cleansing practices) and a closing deep relaxation. Suitable for new students and a beautiful place for experienced practitioners to return.
See the timetable for current Haṭha sessions — or contact a teacher directly to discuss 1-2-1 practice.
