‘Learn to Meditate in 6 Weeks’ with Annelie

Meditation

A six-week one-to-one meditation course — plus ongoing 1–2–1 meditation sessions — designed to help you develop a sustainable home practice.

Meditation

Why Meditate?

Our minds are often overloaded with thoughts. The mind is so active that we can feel overwhelmed with everyday life. Meditation allows you to stop, take some time out, let go of thoughts, and give yourself the time and space you need to clear and calm your mind. Meditation can help you sleep, lower high blood pressure, reduce anxiety, cope better with stress, increase energy, reduce aches and pains, support brain functioning, help with memory and attention span, support your immune system and make you feel happier.

Learn to Meditate in 6 Weeks

If you would like to learn how to meditate or develop your meditation practice, Annelie Carver offers a 6-week learn-to-meditate course. The course takes place at a time and date of your choice. Each lesson lasts for 1 hour. We recommend no more than one week between lessons. You will be given an individual meditation programme — a range of breathing, pranayama and meditation exercises — with follow-up exercises to do at home and access to online videos.

1-2-1 Meditation

In addition, Seventh Sense provides 1-2-1 meditation classes. These can help you start a meditation practice or help you deepen your understanding of meditation.

A note on wellbeing: Meditation is offered as a complementary practice for relaxation, emotional support and general wellbeing, and may help some people feel calmer and more settled. It is not a replacement for medical care, diagnosis or treatment. If you have any health concerns, please speak with a qualified healthcare professional.
