The Practice
Yin yoga is the practice of moving into the deeper layers of tissues, to enable gentle opening of long-held tension in the muscles and joints, freeing the body and mind and releasing emotional trauma.
This style is a gentle, restorative practice, with each posture being held for around 3–5 minutes, either seated or supine, with a focus on the breath to help release and find that deeper sense of connection.
A perfect practice for all levels, even complete beginners, you will leave feeling completely relaxed, energised and rejuvenated in this steady, meditative practice. The perfect complement to any physical activity, as it can aid your performance in sports and other movement modalities.
No experience necessary, open to all levels.
