‘PREM’ means love. Over six weekends plus a six-day residential on Dartmoor, this Kundalini Teacher Training (Level 1) has qualified over 40 teachers since 2012.

Who is this training for?
This training is open to everybody. It’s designed for anybody who wants to deepen their understanding of Kundalini and what it is to be human. All you need is to have experienced at least one Kundalini yoga class. This is for you if you’re inspired to be a Kundalini yoga teacher — we cover how to plan a class, deal with injury and teach a class safely. It’s also for you if you’re already a teacher and want to refresh your knowledge.
Curriculum
1. The Dynamics of Kundalini Yoga · 2. History and Philosophy of Yoga · 3. Oriental Physiology · 4. Introduction to the Mind and Meditation · 5. Karma and Health · 6. Yogic Lifestyle (Humanology) · 7. Kriyas and Asanas · 8. The Spiritual Path · 9. Five Tattvas / Three Doshas, and Eight Chakras System. You will work as a whole group and in smaller nurturing groups with an assisting teacher, plus have a one-to-one session with Martha. International teachers will be visiting and co-teaching, including Guru Daram and Sat Guru.
Dates & Location
The training runs over six weekends from September to February at DerekTheDog Yoga Studio in Exeter. It includes a six-day residential at Bala Brook Retreat Centre on Dartmoor from 29 March to 3 April.
Investment
The training costs £3,100 if paid in instalments, or £2,200 with the early-bird discount / if paid in full before the first of May.
